Question about Yamaha Zeal

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by captainmorgan, Jun 15, 2006.

  1. This is for anyone who has owned a Yamaha Zeal.
How is the fuel economy on these bikes? From what I've found, it seems as though they love a drink. Is this true?

  2. Yeah mate, if you ride them hard they get pretty thirsty, I have fuel economy fluctuations of about 100km per tank.
Ride hard around town Anywhere between 160k's per tank to 200k's per tank.

But Taking it easy and on the Freeway, and it is anywhere between 170k's per tank to 250k's per tank.

Depends a lot on the wind too, on my bike if your riding into the wind they chew it up harder, but my bike is a naked one, so the wind buffeting seems to effect it a bit more.

I still get lots of smiles per litre though!! Sexy bike
