Hi All, My girlfriends bike (1983 VT250F) has a flat spot when you go to accelerate. This has only happened recently and I'd like to know if it's a simple adjustment or one to leave to the mechanics. Sometimes when engine is warm and you are over 5k rpm etc and pull up at the lights it sits up at 3000 rpm unless you put it in gear and let the clutch out a little, then it drops back to idle at approx 1000 - 1200 rpm. It has been doing this for longer than the first query Would these conditions be related? Cheers, J.
