Q's about Fender Eliminator and Plate lights...

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by Grunge, Dec 3, 2007.

  1. Hi Guys,

I asked this on another forums but wot the heck:

Just got myself a new '06 636 and looking at installing eliminators on it. Just a quick Q tho', as I noticed that there's quite a couple of different types of eliminators, some with led lights that light up the Plate, and some which doesn't.

Does anyone know off the top of their head wot's the ruling on having plates being lit up in Victoria?
Just don't want to get pulled over for it.

    Thanks guys!
  2. NO licence plate lamp is unroadworthy as you are changing the ADR of the vehicle.. Best to get one with the led lamp..

    Check out ebay for them..
  3. Thanks dude!!! :]

There's already one that I got my eye one... by rumble Concept... I'll be getting that.

The rest of them pretty much has no lights.
  4. oooh... thanks Vic.

Do you know if it's a black color, as it seems to be like, grey to me....
i wanted a black one.. just to kinda take the bike towards blacker. :p
  5. metal spray paint is your friend ;)
  6. hi folks..
i've just bought one for my hyosung gt650 comet.

I will update with before, during and after shots. and a retard difficulty rating. !!!

-is there any ADR Reg's on Mudguards ? as obviously these mods remove a fair amount of guard area.

  7. thanks cookee,
hmm that 45 degree might be a challenge to obtain with new tail.
O well, form over function !

Shame our ADRs are so strict.. so many awesome mods available OS..
  8. Off topic but first time I have read the rules on that link you posted, I like this section:

That would definitely be a sissy bar if it got that high
