  2. More details

We all recognise the risk of breast cancer and ever year thousands of riders take part in an awareness ride for it, but the large majority of riders are males and many are unaware of the dangers of prostate cancer.

    Did you know?
    * Prostate cancer is the most common registerable cancer in Australian men.
    * Around 13,500 Australian men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.
    * More than 2,800 Australian men die of prostate cancer each year.
    * One in 9 Australian men will develop prostate cancer by the age of 75.

One in NINE! That's a pretty huge figure.

So come along to the Blue Ribbon Ride. Help spread the word!

    Saturday 8th September.
10am meet at Bunnings Mt Cotton Rd Capalaba.

For more details or queries contact qld@cmaaus.org

This is a charity and awareness ride organised by the Christian Motorcyclists Association so don't expect to be getting the knee down or setting any land speed records; but if we can get a few people along then we can probably head off to a more recreational ride afterwards.

Please feel free to crosspost this to other forums - it's for a good cause.
  3. anyone from Ipswich area going to this ride?
  4. From Ipswich but not licensed yet - will do it next year for sure.

Have a great one if you do go - looks like it will be perfect weather
  5. Perfect weather? Everywhere I go it seems to rain lately. But it doesn't matter, I'll still be there!
