[QLD] Air Horn

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by likuid, Feb 25, 2008.

  1. Hey Guys,
I've gotta take my bike in to get a road worthy soon. As Ive sold it. Now the problem i think i may have is i have a air horn rigged up. Does Anyone know whether that would pass? I'm in qld by the way.

    Thanks All.
  2. Re: Air Horn

chuck the [QLD] bit in to the title of your thread, you will then get only accurate info....well, hopefully
  3. and you cant do it, Mr JoelMod? :p

OP, i have no idea how you'd go, but i want one on my bike
  4. this is Smeeville, not my section :)
  5. Dont think you should have any trouble, I guess ADR42.4.20.2 applies:

    Warning Device

Every motor vehicle must be fitted with a least one warning device capable of giving sufficient audible warning of the presence of the vehicle. It must give an audible signal having constant amplitude and frequency characteristics. It may be powered by any energy source including compressed air.

    Link to ADR

On the other hand if your air horns play "La Cucaracha" you are probably going to fail. :)
