Puncture Repair for a scooter

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by EmSmith, Jan 13, 2008.

  1. Hi All,

I have just noticed the first nail in my rear tyre.
I have an Aprilia Scarabeo and the rear tyre is 14".
What generally happens with regards to this?
What do I need to do and how much will it cost to repair?

    Any help/recommendations would be good

  2. what area are you in? high octane motorcycles will be able to pickup, fix and return your bike. if you are not too far from a tyre repair shop, pump your tyre up at a servo then ride there quickly. or get a friend to remove the tyre, and take that to a shop. if you're in the western suburbs, i could probably fix it for you on the spot.
  3. Hi N*A*M,

    Thanks for the offer.
I ended up heading down to Peter Stevens in Elizabeth Street. I live in Brunswick.
    All done!
Gotta start watching those laneways where the Italian Grandpa's do their "handyman" work otherwise I'll be picking up a few more nails sooner rather than later!
