premium Ducatis

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by lazydesi, Jul 26, 2011.

  1. Pretty circular argument.

Ducati is a premium brand because you pay more
You pay more because it is a premium brand.
  2. Old news.

Considering Australia has been a very good market for Ducati for many years, you'd think they'd cut us a break...
  3. Kawasaki ninja 250R - $3999 USD, $5999 AUD

    ZX10R - $13799 USD, $19990 AUD

Not picking on kawasaki, just the first things that come to mind, it's the same for any bike of car. Parallel imports etc.. should be legal.

"In 2000 the Australian Government resolved to remove parallel import restrictions from a range of products except cars, and followed this up with legislation making it legal to source music and software CDs from overseas and import them into Australia. An Australian Productivity Commission report recommended in July 2009 that legislation be extended to legalise the parallel importing of books, with three years' notice for publishers."
