Power Commander 5- Auto tune issues

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by BillyO, Aug 27, 2012.

  1. Anyone know much about Power Commander 5?

Have one *with auto tune fitted and I am getting some odd AFR numbers ranging from 30's to 655.... This is on idle of about 1250 rpm and revving to around * 4000. Bike seems to run fine although worried its running lean...

The 02 sensor was replaced last December so don't think its that...
  2. Have you had it dyno'ed to set up a solid baseline?
I was getting some wonky readings from mine but after i did the baseline and tightened up autotune's play room (think 20% variation from the baseline is default) to 5% and it is really good.

It can throw out a few crappy readings - just the same as the O2 sensor for the ECU can. I let it have at the AFR one day and i ended up with a graph looking a bit more like an oscilloscope... That was with it trying to figure out the best tune for itself :p. Using it to maintain a good tune seems better.
