Police targetting....rear mudguards

  1. I was reading on a different website forum about a police crackdown near Mt. Nebo in QLD.
    It seems the police were targetting motorcyclists only, and just about all bikes were pulled over and the main thing they were checking was the legality of the bikes rear mudguard.
    Just about every sports bike owner modifies his/her rear mudguard, so they would have had a field day booking people.
    It seems the police had a special "tool" to check that the mudguard is the required length. Nothing else was checked.
    The guy has decided to go to court to contest the fine, so I'll let you know how he goes.
