The part I always love is that motorcycle cop gets paid to do exactly what we are doing, except he makes a conscious choice to become a bike cop. Why?maybe he cannot stand riding motorcycles at legal speeds?
  2. "Police Covert Operation"

not very covert if they are putting it on there web site....

""We are extremely concerned about the reckless behaviour displayed by some motorcyclists using our roads and want to stress that these roads are unforgiving; one small error of judgment could very easily turn to tragedy.â€"

we have been warned.....I wonder if they know about "coffee night" yet....
  3. Food for thought...
  4. +1 to all thats said :)
  5. "... buses, taxis, fatigued truck drivers, etc - are not currently targetted as they require a medium sized error of judgement to result in tragedy.

The Victorian Police thank the community in this initiative, for their continued social and financial support - willing or otherwise."
  6. ^^^^ Thats right kids - on a bike you have to concerntrate on your riding as well as the logging truck crossing lines taking half your lane.
  7. "The Road Trauma Reduction Strategy is a project partnership with Victoria Police and BMW Australia, who have kindly donated the motorcycle used in the operation."

Wouldnt this mean the officer would have to ride erratically to follow or catch them?

Hopefully its a little soooped up so we can get some practice.
