Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' started by Ice o 75, Apr 21, 2012.

  1. Gday all, I am attempting to get a new chain on my Dads Suzuki Intruder and I cant get the master link through enough to get the lock pin on. I am starting to lose patience, it should not be this difficult. I cant even get it through enough with the O rings off???? Any tips or advice? Im going to have a beer and rebuild patience. pssstt cheers](*,)

  2. Needle nose vicegrips,I use them to squeeze the plate down.Steady steady,a bit on each end till its snug them I use a screwdriver to tap the clip on,obviously open end away from the way the chain travels. After the clips on give it a tap to put presure back on the clip if you get my drift
