Piston Broke?

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' at netrider.net.au started by Seany, Sep 10, 2005.

  1. Getting to the very serious buisness of upgrading (finally) and have been looking around the traps. Piston Broke motorcycle wreckers in Bayswater have a few candidates but I'd love to hear the experience of anyone who's used them before.

As far as I can guess, since they specialise in smash repairs, the beautifully painted bikes are repaied wrecks. Question is, are they well repaired bikes that had some fairing damage or are theyjust plain dodgy. I haven't been able to check them out cause they were closed today but some experienced oppinions would be helpful.

  2. I've bought bits and pieces off them several times and they've always been pretty helpful.

I don't know how well they piece the bikes back together, but Bob Martin's is only down the road a bit, if you you see something you like, take it for a test ride down to their workshop in Ferntree Gully, they'll be able to tell you if anythings bent outta shape.
