Pirelli Night Dragon

Discussion in 'Tyres' started by Dug, Jun 1, 2013.

  1. Couple of weeks ago I was due for a new rear for my VTX1800. I've previously run Metzlers and Avons on previous cruisers, but this was the first new tyre I needed for the "X". After getting some advice from the guys at Gold Coast Motorcycle Tyres and Mechanical , they talked me out of a Metzler and onto a Pirelli Night Dragon.

About a 1000k later and I'm over the moon. Has way more usable grip than the Bridgestone that was on it (not difficult!). And in the recent wet weather I've been really impressed with its handling and the confidence it inspires.

Anyway, if you're looking for new rubber for the "performance" cruiser market, I can give a big thumbs up to the Night Dragon (and the guys at GCMTM).
