Photoshop clone

  1. The new pcs shipping into NSW Education Dept schools have a great little Photoshop clone as one of their bundled apps. Best of all, it's free and you can download it yourself. It's available here; http://www.getpaint.net/

  2. The other major free Photoshop clone is the GiMP: http://www.gimp.org/ - it's open source and developing rapidly, not a bad bit of software at all!

  3. GIMP must be a pretty good photoshop clone as I can't work either of them...

  4. I tried GIMP but I couldn't get my head around it. Also when I uninstalled it, it still left messy bits all over my system. I guess that's a legacy of it not having to meet usual industry conventions.

Seriously, though, give this thing a go, it's only a 1.3mb download, and worth a try.

  5. WOW 1.3 mb and it's a photoshop CLONE!

It's no photoshop clone and nowhere near one.
I wish people would not be so misleading. (I mean the developers not Paul)
