Phillip Island Track day

Discussion in 'Racing, Motorsports, and Track Days' started by GM250, Mar 3, 2010.

  1. Im doing my first track day at PI next Monday. What can I expect ? any advice ?

  2. Massive disappointment when you have to get off the track in the last session
  3. +1.... You'll hate it!!!!

    From Jealous
  4. Full throttle down the main straight.
  5. rain, storms, 20degC.

looks like it's going to be a crap day.

    (i'll be there too).
  6. Just bring duct/gaf tape, tools for various parts of bike you will take off (mirrors, rear number plate etc).

Bring plenty of water to rehydrate, some decent food/snacks as some of the stuff there is kinda heavy and makes you feel crappy.

Tyre pressure gauge so you can lower your pressure.

Don't roll off to early on the straight, despite what you think, you will not end up in the Bass Strait

It's gunna blow your freakin mind - enjoy you bastard!
