    ...The three-wheeled RD features a clever articulated coupling between the front pod and the single rear wheel that, according to Peugeot, "provides irreproachable road-holding allied with the ability to easily thread its way through urban traffic".

    Tovar, 27, designed the RD as a single-seater powered by an electric motor. The bulbous glass canopy gives the driver a panoramic view of the road and a heads-up display projects all essential driving information onto the glass in lieu of a traditional dashboard.

  2. I read that and the first thing I thought of was the Moxy articulated all-terrain tipper trucks, which famously also feature a clever articulated coupling between the front pod and rear.


    They are also famous for frequently having to lie down for a nap on minesites and construction sites. Like this:



    Okay, okay, so Moxy rollovers are caused by the sheer amount of torque being transmitted through the articulated coupling when one end suddenly becomes bogged - this electric-motor car should be immune. :p
