Evening all, been a long time since I've posted but I thought this was most worthy of making an appearance. I took my 07 CBR 1000 RR in for a service at Peter Stevens Geelong (where I bought it) on Tuesday, yes I should know better, but yes I am a credit card mechanic and want to let someone that knows what they are doing tinker with my bike, or so I thought..... It is now friday night and I still dont have my bike back..... Ok so I had to have a couple of panels replaced (stationary fall, not my fault I was pushed....) PS order me the panels two weeks prior, I get it in theu ring me Tuesday before lunch "Um we actually got sent a red fairing and a black one...." my bike is black....I have to wait two more days, they say I'll get the bike Thursday, I'm ok with that, just get it done.... Thursday afternoon 2:30 I have heard nothing, I ring them "Oh yeah we'll try and have your bike put back together by 5:30, we'll call you when it's done...." I hear nothing until this morning. When I get a call saying that they also cant fit the sliders on that I asked them to fit for me as they're flexing the fairing and its gonna craxk. (I bought the sliders off eBay, meant to be no cut, perhaps the wrong move btu alas i thought they would be able to work it out). Fine, I tell them not to put the sliders on, I'll pick the bike up in the morning as I have things to do tonight.... Someone is going to get my foot up their arse so they can taste the sole of my shoe tomorrow..... I mean sheesh I take my bike back to where I bought it expecting good service and get dicked around. Cant say I'm happy with this, and I haven't even picked up the bike yet..... Thumbs down to the service department of PS Geelong.... very very disappointing experience, when I was ready to sing their praises on Tuesday..... Now I need a new servicer, or I really should just upskill myself!
