Parking at Fountain Gate

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by nobby, Feb 27, 2006.

  1. Don't know if Westfield are going to make a habit of this, but went up to Fountain Gate on Saturday (just before the storm hit) got to my usual parking spot, only to find that some bastard has planted bloody great bollards along the entrance way, making it difficult to ride onto the footpath. Rode round the shopping centre only to find, they have done it at every main entrance on both levels.
I rode between the bollards and still parked up against the wall like I normally would, I didn't see any signs saying "DON'T" but the intent seemed pretty bloody obvious.

  2. Pfft. No-one bothers about those poles.

I usually park my bike next to the food court entrance. Just bump up over the kerb where the Police parking is, through the gaps and parked. Dead easy.

If the intent was to keep m/cycles out, then they went about it the wrong way.
