Panniers for CB900

Discussion in 'Roads, Touring, Journeys, and Travel' at netrider.net.au started by SlaveZero, Sep 17, 2006.

  1. Anyone know off some good saddle type panniers for a CB900 ??
If you are certain of a brand or type that are tried and true please let me know. Thanks. Justin

  2. Well.... Any saddlebags really, they just fit in under the seat and off you go. The pipes don't get real hot, especially the stock ones, so, you should be fine.

I wanted something waterproof and lockable, so I went with this setup:

It's a GIVI top box mounted on a ventura rack (next time I'll go the genuine GIVI mounts, the rack's broken once before) and a fcuking massive Motodry tank bag which zips into three separate bits, holds maps and has a waterproof cover.
  3. Hi Loz.
    Thanks for the feed back.
Have decided on some Ixon saddles so hopefully they will work out ok.
