Oz Blackbird Website Down?

Discussion in 'The Pub' at netrider.net.au started by mjt57, Sep 13, 2007.

  1. Any Oz Blackbirders here? The site's been down for a while now with a "maintenance" page up. Today now there's

    "Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.ozblackbird.net."

Presumably that means that the host is still active but the server that runs the website is offline.

  2. Wife of Kroeb (Blinged black blackbird in Brisbane) here - they had a major problem with the server when they did a back-up or something - check the forum for the Pazzo Levers for more info. Supposed to be back up and running soon - fingers crossed.
  3. Thanks for the info. At least they're not permanently gone...
  4. Had a HDD fail on the server, it is on it's way from USA so some attempt can be made to recover any data. Word is that anything from Nov 06 until it crashed could be lost.

Check the .com site for updates, Para posts them there.
  5. Hey Tweet
Seems we have the same situation again - post PI? Any news this time?
p.s. met up with Brian, Al and Kevie (from WA) at Cowes.
  6. ozvfr which is hosted at the same place (as I understand) is down also.
  7. The vBulletin page is back again but with a maintenance message - hopefully all will be restored soon
  8. Up and running again, alls well with the site,
Was good to meet you all Valkau,
Got pinged on the way home, taking it to court, Still waiting.
