OT: Say hello in there

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by hornet, Feb 16, 2006.

  1. Police in NSW have been shocked by the discovery, only a couple of days apart, of the bodies of two elderly people who have been dead for six months.

It is just too sad to contemplate that someone could get to the end of his or her life and die and be dead for six months without anyone noticing or caring.

So if you're walking down the street some time
And spot some hollow ancient eyes
Please don't just pass them by and stare
    Like you didn't care
    Say "Hello in there,

You know you'd want someone to do that for you.......
  2. It's certainly something to think about, isn't it? It makes me sad to think about someone at the end of his or her life with no family or friends to be there for them... I lost an elderly relative last year and it was nice to know that she was surrounded by loved ones right up until her last moments, but I feel for the ones who don't have that luxury.
