Let's see a cat do that!
Just one of so many reasons why dogs rule!
I mate in the police force tells me the dogs are pretty awesome. Like if they are serving a warrant, guy has a knife in his hand, they can let the dog in and it basically disarms the guy. Or if they are chasing someone and they let the dogs off. They tell me, if the dog is coming from behind, they have to make sure they stand still once the dog is let go and it passes them, as they will latch onto anyone running.
In that youtube link, hows the form when the dog latches onto the handler and he gives it a jab to head.
and why they can be incredibly dangerous. that dog is not well trained, the officers could not get him off that man without alot of yelling and pulling.
I'd be curious to see what Hornet's to this would be?
like a tiger or lion? easy
Look at the scenarios, the dogs are obviously tactical not general purpose so need for a release on command.
Good leap over the car, all the same.
Something like this....
boy that is one pissed off feline.
I have a GSD !!!
Holy shit, 2up!
They can be trained to do some incredibly complex things.
Training vids show dogs being trained to stay planted, and scan an area. Bark only, and look in the direction of the intruder, without moving.
They can be trained to get right in your face on command, bark an inch from you, but not actually bite you. They can be trained to do this while shadowing you up/down steps, impeding your progress without actually touching you. They can be trained to, on another command, destroy.
Many police dogs are trained to stay in the car, but exit the vehicle and come to assistance if the officer is attacked, pushed, etc.
They can be search and attack, silently. I saw a video once of a guy hiding in a warehouse, dog comes up behind him and gently clamps on his gun arm's wrist, and just looks at him like "make my day".
Incredible animals. You should see the smarts on some of the "seeing eye" dogs, for instance. They analyse situations and predict their human owners actions, and can warn of a dumb move ages in advance.
My mum watches Inspector Rex.
Me too with my police dog! Though sometimes, i get insanely jealous of Rex and i turn to Slash and say "One day boy... u will be able to make us both ham sandwiches....just...like...Rex."
Of seriously you would not want that cat to touch you in any way
