  1. I'm so excited!

I just organised to buy a bike from the 'Bikes for Sale' part of the forum!
Its a 2007 Kawa GPX250. I went and sat on one and ta da - my feet were almost flat and I wasn't leaning too far forward - I was pretty comfy and the seat was big.

(Thanks to everyone telling me to sit on more bikes and which ones to try!)

I'm hoping to get it tomorrow or Tuesday - WOOHOO!

Being such a newbie to my L's though I'll be having it dropped off at my place - how accommodating is that!

I can't wait to get started - and I've got another private bike lesson to help me out this week too.

  2. Once you've had Kwaka, you never go backa!

    Regards, Andrew.
  3. But life's pretty cruisy on a Suzi :!:
  4. Oh god! Don't make me regret posting this!
  5. Congrats on the purchase :)
  6. Everything falls in line once as you have a rhyme.

    ok we'll stop now :p

Congrats on your purchase, is it a black or a red one?
  7. Congrats, my first bike was a GPX - was a great bike to learn on.
  8. I've had my GPX for about 3 months now, I love it!
  9. Congrats.

Buying a Honda will make you Ponda
  10. Well done Bonni.

Looks like a great bike. you will be doing group ride in no time.

  11. Congrats Bonni, the GPX is a great first bike, have fun & stay safe.
  12. Yeah it's usually only a one way trip.
  13. Congrats on your purchase mate!
That was one of the bikes I was considering to purchase before but I ended up buying a CBR250RR.
Enjoy your ride and fresh air! lol
  14. Way too many GPX's on the ride on Saturday..

Can't believe how slow they are.....
  15. At least it isn't an Aprilia; rumour has it they'll kill ya

Congrats on the new wheels; we all remember with fondness our first bike, and you will too :).
  16. The only one who has to like your bike is you!

Enjoy every minute, ride safe & remember every single person on the road will do the wrong thing! Expect it & you won't have to panic!
  17. Ok, second shot at this:
You'll go far, on a Yamaha..................
