Oil Filter

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by DUK35, Feb 19, 2007.

  1. Hey guys - just a quick question -

Do you change the oil Filter everytime you change the engine oil?

if not then at what km should the oil Filter be changed? or is it after a certain time you change your oil?
  2. Definitey change the filter every oil change.

    Regards, Andrew.
  3. The short answer is yes.

Some people like to change their oil twice as often as recommended and then their oil filter only when recommended - every second oil change. This is the stuff of holy wars. :)

At a minimum, just follow the recommended intervals in your owners manual.
  4. Yes. Each and every time if you can. Cheap potential 'insurance' to longer life for your engine.
  5. Oil and filter every 5000K
  6. same... every bike no metter what are the recomended changes...
