oil filter - where to get them

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by kyan, Feb 25, 2008.

  1. i feel stupid asking this but i went to buy a filter for my sv650 from Supercheap and Repco on the weekend and neither stock many filters.

Do I need to go to a Suzuki dealer or are there other places that sell them. I am in Bris.

  2. You need to find a more bike-specific outlet.
    ie Dealers Yep
  3. Only a few bike filters have been available from car dealers, because they were also used in cars...

However, you should find good enough oil from car shops. If a brand name (Shell, for instance) you will possibly buy it cheaper from a larger servo for that brand.

  4. Buy filters in bulk online. Plenty of online stores, and you'll save 50% at least if you shop carefuly.

  5. Any bike dealer will have what you want. :)
  6. cool, thanks for steering me in the right direction
  7. I might start doing that. Any favourite links?
  8. Filters are about $15 and available online or in most bike shops.
