Ode to the Biker

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by in the wind, Nov 17, 2004.

  1. I pray for all bikers, the groups and the clubs
Praying for the sport that all of us love
No matter what style, no matter what race
Your soul has no color; your soul has no face
We started out afraid, to lean right of left
And now we use speeds, which could bring us death
So twist back the throttle, it might save your life
You may have a husband, you may have a wife
So think of your family and what they will miss
Your touch and your smile, the warmth of your kiss
And think of your loved ones, when you turn the key
God bless all the bikers and please pray for me.

  3. Well said In The Wind, I think these very thoughts every time I go for a ride :)

  5. AAAAAARRRRRRGGHHHHHHH! Shut up!

  6. twist back the throttle?

    ok... vrooom vrooom!!!

im confused. is that asking people to slow down or speed up?

if its asking people to slow down, maybe "ease off" would be a better fit for the message than "twist back"... i dunno about everyone else but when i twist back the throttle, i accelerate.

if its praying for people to speed up, someone needs a reality check...
