Ntec slick compounds

Discussion in 'Racing, Motorsports, and Track Days' started by Roost, Mar 17, 2008.

  1. Does anyone know what the Dunlop Ntec slick tyre compound numbers are: as in how to work out which is hard/med hard/med/soft etc. :?
I've looked everywhere and it's doing my head in

Also I'm at the Island on Monday so, is anyone else going?
  2. Ask Ben at the tyre service at PI on Monday, he should know.

There is a chart here that shows Ntecs and their compounds, scroll down...

  3. That's a good idea, I'll do that, thanks Triway

Yeah, I've checked the chart you posted but the numbers are different to mine, must be a US thing.

Mine have 7433 and 7503 stamped on them. I have used both numbers and it appears as though the 7433 are softer. I think they are mediums but I'd like to no for sure.
  4. Did you see those inflation pressures for the rear tyres...... 21 psi, far out!!!
