[NSW] Popular Nowra dealership destroyed in fire.

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by rc36, Mar 7, 2010.

  1. News reports on local TV tonight that popular Nowra motorcycle dealership, Dave Byrnes Motorcycles was destroyed in a fire that also destroyed the surf shop that occupies the same premises.

The highway was shut for a time and the area cordoned off due to fears of exploding gas bottles inside the building.

Byrnes's has been in business for many years and is a well-respected dealership serving a wide area, from Wollongong well down the south coast.

It's to be hoped that the building was insured along with its contents as the shop usually holds a huge stock of motorcycles both new and 2nd hand and spares and accessories as well.
  2. what a waste, damn, all those new bikes, what brands did he sell?
  3. Honda's - mostly fireblades and firestorms.
  4. Gfc...?
  5. You got it, Chris
