[NSW] Do you have to buy parking ticket?

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by moog, Oct 25, 2007.

  1. If you're parking your motorbike on the street, say in the city somewhere, do you have to buy a parking ticket?

And if so, where are you meant to put it on the bike where it won't be blown away or stolen?

I know there are dedicated bike parking spots in some areas, but not many.

And I see a lot of people praking out of the way on the footpath and they never get a fine from what I've seen. Anyone know about this?
  2. yes
in your pocket, yea it sucks
They get fined when you are not looking..
  3. i have

I have only had to park in that situation twice what i did was got the ticket and put it on the inside of my screen. I then took a close picture with my camera phone including the date and time. I figured this way if it blew away and i got a ticket i would have proof that it was there and everything was above board.
