    Oil Stained Brain 2013
    2nd - 3rd of November

A celebration of custom two wheeled creations and the artists who build them.
    Venue TBA.

“If Australia needed an event, this is it. Fusing art, motorcycles, film, music and the infamous Melbourne lane way culture, OSB has hit the nail squarely on the head.” Fuel Magazine, Australia
Oil Stained Brain was the first exhibition of its kind in Australia to celebrate the art form of custom motorcycle building and the lifestyle that surrounds it. More art exhibit that bike show Oil Stained Brain had a strong focus on forming connections between builders and showing the public just how creative and unique these rolling works of art can be. To compliment the collection of custom bikes Lowbrow art lined the walls, custom painted and pinstriped helmets and tanks sat on podiums amongst the bikes and a selection of the best motorcycle short films and documentaries played in a grungy old upstairs cinema.
Oil Stained Brain invited 24 of the best backyard builders from around Victoria and neighbouring states to display their custom creation in the warehouse gallery space. Café Racers, Bobbers, Choppers, Trackers, Rats and custom scoots together under the one roof, a ‘something for everyone’ collection that would get any motorcycle enthusiast excited.
On the 3rd and 4th of November the doors opened to a huge crowd of wide eyed, jaw dropped visitors. Over 1000 people made their way through the doors each day of the show, sharing their opinions and personal stories with each other. On the Saturday evening the builders, sponsors and 300 ticket holders attended the OSB launch party. With a fully stocked bar, movies screening all night, a live performance by Melbourne band ‘Bitter Sweet Kicks’ and of course the stars of the show, the motorcycles.
Planning for the 2013 show has begun with a bigger venue to allow for more bikes and a bigger party.
Oil Stained Brain was proudly sponsored by Independent Parts, Dime City Cycles, KDS Designs and Rocker Classic Motorcycles.
