    I went down some fire trails today with the RFS, here are some photos of our 100 series landcruiser after the track, we encountered alot of Golden Orb spiders, to relate it to motorbike riding, i would not want to run into them on a trail bike!..

    Where do they rank in the poisonous spider scale?
  3. Orb weavers are reluctant to bite. Symptoms are usually negligible or mild local pain, numbness and swelling. Occasionally nausea and dizziness can occur after a bite. Humped Orb Weavers have very small fangs and they are timid and reluctant to bite.
