News: Phillip Island reduced to 80km/h, just in time for GP

  2. Something in the back of my mind is telling me most of the Island was a 90 zone many years back and was bumped up to 100 in a few spots.

    Oh well, that will add at least 2 minutes to most trips from the bridge to the track :roll:

    Realistically the amount of traffic and narrow nature of the roads it really needs to be dropped down to 80 anyway, I also reckon the Hume at Kalkallo also needs to be dropped to 80 due to the peak traffic volumes and comings 7 goings from the Pub & servo's.
  3. At least it will be consistant now...never knew if you were in a 60, 70, 80 or 100 zone they changed that much.
