New problem with Kwaka GT550

  1. The carburettor seems to be leaking fuel. This apparently happens when the engine is running and continues for a while when engine is switched off.

    A while back, I took the motorcycle to Joe's Motorcycles and they drained the carburettor as I was complaining about the engine roughness. Of course the roughness was really caused by the dying battery, which has since been replaced.

    Could the mechanic have done a half-baked job and forgotten to tighten whatever he loosened?

  2. Turns out one of the hoses connecting the 4 carburetors came loose due to old age...
