New old rider from the country

Discussion in 'Welcome Lounge' started by Petel, Mar 9, 2015.

  1. Hi everyone. Just joined Netrider after a few years of bike riding. When I think about it I reckon it might be about 45 years, on and off. The on and off is the real story of my riding. Can remember a 350 Royal Enfield made into a scramble bike that a mate had, think I had a Suzuki 90 trail bike at the time. Eventually got my licence (a story in it self) and started a long association with mostly Suzuki motorcycles. But although I always kept my licence I had this on and off thing about riding. The latest episode goes something like - sell a lovely 98 Fireblade and decide to stop riding. After a couple of years the 'hidden motorcycle gene' can't stand being without a bike and several months later a Honda 600 Hornet appears at home.....

  2. Welcome. A familiar story!
  3. Welcome back...
  4. Welcome. You tell a similar tale to a lot of us here.
