New Bike Advice

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by NightWolf, Mar 4, 2008.

  1. Im just about to go bike shopping and i wanted some advice on what bike to buy. Most rides i go on are between 100-400km at a time.

These are the models i like and have been thing of taking for a test ride next week sometime.
    Honda vt750c2
    Yamaha xvs650 custom
    Suzuki boulevard M50
    Kawasaki vulcan 900 Custom

Has anyone got one of these and taken it on a big cruise how dose it feel ? is it conformable on long trips ? Is it reliable, good on fuel?

any info would be much appreciated
  2. Prices I was quoted - so you know what to expect.

    Honda vt750c2
$11,000 with vance Hines (I think that's it...lol) pipes - includes on road costs

    Suzuki boulevard M50
Also check out the C50 model - same bike, different look. $10,400 ride away.

Kawasaki vulcan 900 Custom (standard is the same price)- $12, 490 + another $500 for on road costs.
(also told me a c50/m50 would cost me no less than $10450 plus on road costs).

I didn't push any of these guys, though I did ask for their "best price".
