New accessory for the SR...

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by mattb, Aug 1, 2009.

  1. Just got myself something to hang off the side of the SR500.......a sidecar!

For the princely sum of $450. The chassis is home-made and very solid, and has just been powdercoated. It was made for an SR500, bolts straight on without hassles, and has an SR500 wheel. It was passed around various guys in the SR Club. The boat is a 1941 Australian Murphy. It's a bit too small and in need of restoration, and I'll probably look at making up my own with a hand from somebody who welds.

And of course, I couldn't help treat the baby to a $600 spare set of late grey internal organs....

Thank you Mr Rudd, I was stimulated!
  2. Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped conjure up the stolen data tapes, or given you clairvoyance enough to find the rebels' hidden fortress...

That a good score for the dollars. Keep us posted how the outfit is going.
  3. waiting to see the finished project :)
  4. It's a trap!

    It's actually fully operational.
  5. Good old Admiral Akbar, he knows when somethings a trap
