  1. OK. It seems our netrider bike is a sports tourer, leaning more towards the sports than the tour. It also would probably need a naked option.

Now lets define it a bit better.

Assume, for the moment, it's capacity is mid to large.

What engine configuration would it have?

I have assigned a mass to each configuration. I know most are going to disagree with these figures, but they are purely designed to assign a consequence to each configuration. We will define mass a bit better after we discuss capacity.

Also a few configurations are missing, because the poll has a restricted number of entry's. Let me know if there are any missing that you particully like.
  2. Whoohoo, I have 100% of the vote at the moment!!!!

    I WIN!!!!!!!

Everybody go out and buy VFR'S!!!!

  3. And what about horizontally opposed Twins then
  4. Lets just call 'em 180 degree V-twins!!

  5. and are the inline 3's & 4's across the frame or down the frame?
and are they upright (Rocket 3) or flat K1200RS???

  6. would you also like to know the bore/stroke details, cooling methods, spark plug type, gear ratios, valve clearances, colour of the riders underpants??

    :p
  7. And what's the angle of the V-twin and is it transverse (can't leave out the Guzzis)
  8. This poll is falling apart, isn't it???

So many choices, so little time...
  9. Nope,
    one choice - K1200S

  10. Where's the rotary option?
  11. How about gas turbine?
  12. There we go... :D
  13. Just bought the latest 2 Wheels. It's this years Bike of the Year and looks to come out on top of their Sports Tourer test as well...

Now if I could just lease that instead of the new car!

  14. Where's the environmentally friendly electric, or hydrogen fuel cell option?
  15. At the back.
  16. Have the British so badley destroyed the reputation of the parrarel twin?

Surely there must be love for it somewhere.
  17. BMW!!! are supposedly releasing an 800cc twin next year.
Rumors abound but it looks to be a parallel twin.

    Spy shots here

  18. Yep, I've heard the same rumours.

Laverda made a rather nice one a few years back, too.
  19. MZ currently have a 1000
  20. Triumph's modern inline twins actually work pretty well, but they aren't exactly performance machines... lots slower than thier triples are.
