n to 2nd bang

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' at netrider.net.au started by TAX123, May 19, 2010.

  1. never noticed it before although i never do this normal but when standing still i changed the gear from neutral to 2nd and it makes a load bang in the gear box, (this is with the clutch in ) but when i ride and change from 1st to 2nd it goes smooth with not much noise, i tried it only a couple times but its the same thing, dont want to do it too many times as it may stuff the gear box, what might be the problem? clutch? dogs? etc etc
