I've been wearing a pair of SiDi Way Rain boots for daily commuting and a bit of touring for the last 4 years. These boots have been comfortable, waterproof and not too hot in summer. However, the zip puller has broken. Just worn through on the pin part that goes through the zip. Looks like it's only made of aluminium. I managed to get it working again by replacing the zip puller with a keyring. Now I see that the heel has worn through to the cavity and these boots would only see 200m walking a day. Compare this to my pair of Rossis (actually Rossiters) that are still quite usable. I bought these new in 1974. Leather soles and all. I've ordered myself a pair of Daytona touring boots. I'll let you know how it goes.
