My mother warned me about blokes like me

  1. My wife bought me Boris' book "My mother warned me about blokes like me" for my birthday. A great read, I can highly recommend it.

Basically it's a book of short stories, some of which have appeared in his AMCN column in one form or another.

  2. Absolute great reading, downloaded it off ibooks great read.
  3. I'm actually a little disappointed. I mentioned "his" name and there's been no outraged comments made about 'him'.
  4. I have several theories .....

    1. It's the collective shock that you have dared mention "he-who-must-not-be-named".

    2. Nobody knows who you are referring to.

    3. Nobody cares.
  5. Just mentioning Boris isn't enough to invoke outrage.

Some of the shit he says can invoke outrage though.

Seems like the book would be worth a read.
  6. It's a cracking read from a cracking bloke. Well worth it.
  7. I second Dougz, it is a cracking read.
