my first longish trip :)

  1. so exciting, beaut of a day yesterday for a ride; took her out, fouled up with some pocket change (love it!) and had out through Royal Nat Park.

    Nice and easy, but im starting to notice the lack of power of a 250 in those long straights, especially when some 17yo in a hyundai needed to be overtaken.
    I literally feel the bike shrinking underneath of me as im gaining experience and confidence.
    No matter, love it anyway...at least till get unrestricted permit :)

    we all go through that, the 250's on a stretch need planning for power acceleration etc, but dont be fooled that they arent a force to be reckoned with. Master the 250 before dreaming of the bigger beasts out there.
    FYI the true riding is done in the twisties not in straights!!
  3. yeh true that, i found twisties hep of fun, found myself exceeding the recommended corner speed before you know it :)
