{Moved from Reviews} Honda VT250C Melb mechanic?

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by blackwing, Oct 13, 2013.

  1. I'm planning to adjust the chain myself which is very loose now. But having difficulty finding a suitable lifter due to the exhaust pipe is in the way.

Can anybody recommend which lifter is suitable for this bike?

Also any recommendation on reliable mechanic for this bike in Melbourne?

  2. Got similar need but for bloke in Melbourne. Anybody can recommend?

  3. What suburb are you looking for .. CBD ?

Minor service around $200-$250 major around $400-600 . But this would depend on your bike . Check your maintenance schedule

Tires front around $200 back $300 . I like Michelin but see what is rec for your bike on your bike forums

    Hope that helps

  4. CBD would be fine. I'm willing to go anywhere in Melbourne to get my bike serviced by a reliable mechanic.
  5. Hopefully he figured it out back in 2006 LOL
  6. From personal experience Very good are

    http://www.sixtydegrees.com.au in notting hill

Also http://race-replica.com near yarraville you should have a happy motorcycling with either

You know to stay away from Peter Stevens :(

LOL didn't spot that Sunday morning ":) and he hasn't been around much so still trying to fit those tires .

  7. Cheers mate. Will give race-replica a call tomorrow as I live in the west area.
  8. I do my own servicing but I have heard good things about 60 degrees in Notting Hill.

You could learn yourself and save a lot of money too :)

  9. Yeah that'd be ideal. I'm having difficulty finding a proper lifter for VT250C due to the exhaust is in the way between the underframes.
