{Moved from General} Servicing and gear (QLD)

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' at netrider.net.au started by Ub3rS0ldat, Jan 7, 2013.

  1. G'day all,

Looking for a place people recommend around Kedron QLD for gear and servicing of my CBR250R. I'll be needing a set of full leathers eventually as I'm looking to start doing some track days whenever I can.

  2. IIRC there are a few bike mechanics in Boothby St or just around the corner, on Gympie Rd, near the caravan place.

I can't comment on any of them 'cause I haven't used their services.

For leathers you can't go past Phil at hi-side leather repair IMHO.

    Hope this helps

If you have a measuring ribbon available, buy online; you'll save hundreds. We get smashed for gear, and while they are closing the gap, its still too far imho. That said, I hear Shark Leathers down the coast (Hope Island exit, just off the highway) do some really good leather gear.

As for the service; I don't know. :) GL!
  4. Thanks for the responses. Haven't had a chance to look around yet but I'll get out there eventually. :(
