{Moved from General} Dynotuning for 81 CB750 in Sydney?

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by my03, Oct 27, 2013.

  1. Hey guys, I have a 81 dohc cb750 stroked to 823cc, it has keihin 29mm carbs on there.

It was running flawlessly for a tank or two since finishing the build and suddenly yesterday it stalled as if it was running out of fuel.

Today I unscrewed the fuel line going into the carb and fuel is coming out fine, so i'm guessing it might be a carb problem.

I don't really want to ride it, in case it happens again.

I wanted to bring it to someone who knows carbs and preferably someone familiar with these older bikes to have a look at it, maybe dial in the carbs on the dyno too. is it even worth it to have the ignition and carbs dialed in on the dyno?

Can someone recommend me someone? pref someone who can pick it up in their ute or van? The bike is in Sydney CBD so i was hoping someone close, so far i only found flywheels in marrickville, are they any good?

    Cheers guys.
