N/A | National {Moved from General} Double amputee racing

Discussion in 'Racing, Motorsports, and Track Days' at netrider.net.au started by KANGA, Sep 15, 2013.

  1. I'm quite inspired by Alan Kempster who never gave up and persevered. Another great story about a man who didn't let life get on top of him and slow him down.

  3. We have a double amputee racing classic bikes right here in Australia. He has his right arm and his right leg amputated.

  5. Sorry, mate, read the thread too quickly
I saw Alan getting push started round the pits at Eastern Creek last year, the bike wouldn't start and keep running and he was furious; what a great competitor.
I remember someone posted up a year or so ago about an amputee in the US road-racing too..
