Motorex "Racing" Oil?

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by VapourLock, Mar 5, 2007.

  1. Hi all,

In my often present quest of "trying things out to see what works better", my ZXR250A now has Motorex "Power Synt 4T" oil in it (10-60W).

    Link: http://www.motorex.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/show/temp/default/path/1-418-443-772-784-786.htm

Also had the plugs changed to NGK Iridium ones too.

After the change my first impression was that the bike felt more "snappy" (i.e. revs go up a bit faster when throttle is applied). Two weeks on now, and same thought, but noticing better fuel economy. Instead of getting 163k per tank, I'm getting about 170-171k per tank.

In hindsight, I should have made one change at a time and then measured them individually eh? :-/

Anyone else used this Motorex stuff and have thoughts/impressions on it and/or what to try next? (did anyone say nitrous?) ;->
