Motorcycling journal

Discussion in 'New Riders and Riding Tips' started by gato, Oct 25, 2004.

  1. I came across this riding journal by a lady in California. I've been reading it and there are many things I like about the journal. I figure it will have more than a few good pointers for beginners.

    here's the link: http://www.balsamfir.com/motorcycle.htm

basically, she started on a cruiser, went onto a BMW CS, and now she's a track junkie :D

  2. Looks like a fantastic read, thanks for the link gato :D

  3. That's going to keep me busy for a while!

  4. :D took me a few days to read. i picked up a lot of good pointers. i like how she handled her learning process. didn't let anyone or anything push her, just went at her own pace.

the license system over there is amazing. it seems that once you pass & get your license, you can jump onto any bike. so.... i can take the test on a CB250... hell, make that a postie, then walk out of the test facility and ride off on an R1  [-o<
