  17. Just out of curiosity...I've only had my first bike for about a week and I have been a little cautious about the whole lane splitting. I know that technically speaking you're not supposed to do it but has anyone actually been booked for it? If so, what was the damage? Do the cops even care?

  18. 1. yes (3 times)
    2. yes.

  19. i've split past a few cops that have been sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. its gunna be hard work for them to chase you though traffic so why would they bother. dont do anything stoopid and i doubt you'll find yourself being hassled, and by that i mean that if the traffic starts to move, jump back in with the rest of them.

hey, should post this up on Ozsportsbikes and have a tally of how many NOs you get. i'm guessing between 1 and 2 for the whole site
