Despite motorcycles having a significantly higher fatality rate compared to cars limited research has been conducted to aid the development of countermeasures to reduce motorcycle related fatalities. The Monash University Accident Research Centre, Clayton, Victoria is conducting a study in partnership with the European Union to better understand the factors that are involved in motorcycle riding that could be targeted by countermeasures.

This research is likely to contribute to the reduction of motorcycle fatalities worldwide. We are looking for motorcycle riders with a valid Australian motorcycle licence to participate in a 2.5 to 3 hour video recorded interview. If you would like to contribute to this highly important research please email Robin Hutchinson at robin.hutchinson@muarc.monash.edu.au.
