Motorcycle Lift - REPCO SALE

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by asho101, Aug 16, 2007.

  1. Hey Guys,

Don't know if anybody has seen this, but REPCO have a sale on.

Anyways, they have a Motorcycle Lift on sale. $159

    Check it out here

I will have a look on my way home tonight, looks pretty good actually.

I have had both wheels off a few times and had to use a jack on the engine...just wasn't stable!

    Anyone bought one?

  2. I have a similar one and have used it many times. It depends on how flat the underside of your bike is. Sportsbikes you'll have to remove the lower fairing(s) and maybe use a rope or chain from steering yoke to the rafters to stabilise it, depending on what you're doing and how the bottom of the engine is.

For dirtbikes and cruisers this style of lift can be very good. Works best with a cradle-type frame.
  3. Hmmm...looks like I'll be getting one of those tommorrow gotta do fork oil on the bird soon :)
